Bracewell Represents Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. in Bakken Pipeline Project Transportation Services Agreements and FERC Regulatory Matters

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Bracewell LLP is representing Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (Energy Transfer) in the Bakken Pipeline Project regarding drafting and negotiating shipper transportation services agreements and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulatory approvals and related matters, including with respect to recent transactions undertaken by Energy Transfer involving the Bakken Pipeline Project.

The Bakken Pipeline Project is developed as a joint venture among affiliates of Energy Transfer, Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. and Phillips 66. It is comprised of the Dakota Access Pipeline, which is expected to deliver in excess of 470,000 barrels per day of crude oil from the Bakken/Three Forks production area in North Dakota to market centers in the Midwest and to the Gulf Coast market.  The recent transactions include a sale of an interest to MarEn Bakken Company LLC for $2 billion and a $2.5 billion project financing.
