Bracewell Promotes 8 in Texas, Washington and DC

Law360 highlighted Bracewell’s eight promotions across offices in Texas, Seattle and Washington, DC.

The promotions, effective January 1, involve a range of practice areas, including finance, energy regulatory, corporate and securities, infrastructure development, public finance, policy resolution and litigation. The newly elected partners include Andrew C. J. Bueso, Summer B. Greathouse, Tyler S. Johnson, Kate Barrington McGregor, Laura D. Sheldon, Drew Taggart and Christine G. Wyman. The newly promoted senior principal is Caitlin Sickles.

“At Bracewell, a tremendous amount of time and energy goes into supporting every associate and giving them the opportunity to succeed,” McGregor said in an email to Law360. Johnson stated that “Bracewell is a great firm in which to grow as an attorney, and the firm’s support over the years has been tremendous.”

“To have the partners at Bracewell, who have taught me so much over the years, express their confidence in me in this way is exciting,” Bueso told Law360 in an email. Taggart added that “Bracewell’s culture is the reason I love going to work every day,” a rarity in the legal industry, and how he is thrilled to continue building his practice at Bracewell. “I’m honored and privileged to join the Bracewell partnership and work alongside talented, collaborative and supportive colleagues,” Wyman stated via email.

Sickles also noted that Bracewell is a firm “commitment to bringing creative vision to solving client challenges,” and how it “takes a unique law firm to encourage expansion into strategic communications and digital services.”
