Bracewell Brings Aboard Ex-EPA Senior Official in Houston

Law360 noted Bracewell’s recent addition of Steven Cook as of counsel. Cook joins the firm after most recently serving three years — between 2018 and 2021 — as deputy assistant administrator for the Office of Land and Emergency Management with the EPA.

In his new role at the firm, Cook will handle matters related to Superfund sites, as well as reopeners, major incident and crisis responses, and siting and permitting of new energy and mining projects.
