Bracewell’s Corporate and Litigation Teams Named Finalists at 2019 Houston Corporate Counsel Awards

HOUSTON – The Texas Lawbook and the Houston Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel recognized Bracewell LLP as a finalist in two categories at the 2019 Houston Corporate Counsel Awards.

Bracewell’s representation of Apache Corporation in the creation of a $3.5 billion Permian midstream company with Kayne Anderson Acquisition Corp. was named a finalist for M&A Transaction of the Year. In addition, the firm’s trial victory on behalf of Baker Hughes in a patent ownership dispute brought by a former employee was selected as a finalist for Business Litigation of the Year.

The Texas Lawbook and ACC Houston Chapter received more than 90 nominations for the inaugural year of this award’s program, which celebrates the achievements of law firms and corporate legal departments in South Texas.

Finalists will be profiled in an upcoming issue of The Texas Lawbook. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Houston’s Four Seasons on April 25.
