Ammonia: The Missing Link in the Energy Transition?

Andrej Kormuth, a partner in Bracewell LLP’s Dubai office, spoke with Energy Voice about the future  of ammonia exports as companies look toward opportunities to realize their zero carbon goals.

A shift toward hydrogen, followed by ammonia, would not be an enormous task, according to Kormuth.

For super majors and oil and gas companies, the "existing appreciation for quality control procedures and in-house engineering capability (not to mention midstream and downstream assets) should lend them a competitive advantage in this nascent industry, if indeed such companies make the appropriate investment and business shift focus,” said Kormuth.
