Employment Arbitration: Trends, Developments & Best Practices

In May 2018, the United States Supreme Court issued an opinion upholding the validity of class-action waivers in employee arbitration agreements. Significant media coverage of that opinion has led many employers to evaluate whether to require employees to arbitrate employment-related disputes and to review and/or revise their arbitration agreements. This webinar will address the factors employers should consider when determining whether to implement an arbitration program, employer options for tailoring arbitration programs to their workforce, and the necessary elements of arbitration agreements with employees. The webinar will also discuss two pending employment arbitration cases before the Supreme Court, which are set for oral argument in October 2018.
