Bracewell’s Robert L. Clarke Recognized by Alma Mater for Service to University

The Association of Rice Alumni recognized Bracewell Financial Institutions Senior Partner Robert L. Clarke with the Gold Medal, the association’s highest award. Clarke was honored for his service to Rice University at this year’s annual ARA Laureates Dinner held May 16.

Clarke, a 1963 economics graduate, served on the Rice Board of Trustees from 2006 to 2010. He was also a member of the ARA Board of Directors and the ARA president on his class reunion committee. Clarke continues to serve as an emeritus member of the Rice Board of Trustees.

Clarke is the founder of Bracewell’s global financial institutions practice and advises major banking institutions in matters involving state and federal banking laws, regulations and compliance with requirements of supervisory agencies, including management of regulatory risk in day-to-day operations, mergers, acquisitions and strategic planning.
