About Melissa

Melissa Mihalick focuses her practice on public and education law. She has represented clients in state and federal court and before administrative agencies.

Melissa serves as general counsel to governmental entities, including community colleges, independent school districts and other political subdivisions. She provides counsel on public law matters, which includes board governance, open government and public information. She also offers guidance on litigation matters, internal investigations, employee training, employment contracts, grievances, employee terminations, bidding and contract matters and policy development.
