About Clay

Clay Davis represents employers involved in federal and state court litigation and before administrative agencies. He has experience defending employers against whistleblower actions, employment discrimination claims, collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and breach of contract disputes. In addition to litigation, Clay counsels employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws. He also represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters.

Recent Notable Matters

Transportation and Rig Moving Company — represented company in lawsuit involving numerous breach of contract and trade secret claims; obtained total dismissal of plaintiff’s lawsuit pursuant to Texas Citizens Participation Act

Major Defense Contractor — successfully defended disability discrimination claims and obtained summary judgment against plaintiffs

Technology Company — obtained temporary restraining order and temporary injunction against former employee protecting employer’s confidential information

Multistate Company — represented employer in nationwide FLSA collective action, resulting in successful resolution for client
