Senior Counsel Brad Chin Elected to Asian American Bar Association's Board of Directors

HOUSTON - Bracewell & Giuliani LLP Senior Counsel Brad Y. Chin has been elected to the Asian American Bar Association of Houston's Board of Directors, 2014-2016.

Founded in 1984, the Asian American Bar Association of Houston (AABA) is a volunteer group of attorneys, judges and law students of Asian heritage or who have Asian American interests. The AABA aims to address the needs of Houston's Asian American community and promote the Houston society of Asian American lawyers through continuing legal education, pro bono work, volunteer opportunities and social events.

Brad focuses his practice on patent and trademark prosecution, client counseling, licensing, and technology transfer. He prosecutes patents in the chemical, electrical and mechanical arts for both U.S. and International clients, particularly in the areas of oil and gas drilling equipment, fluids, chemical processing, telecommunications, automotive, robotics, consumer electronics, OLED and plasma displays, semiconductors, energy storage, renewable energy, clean technology, catalytic filtration systems, coatings, food products, medical devices, nanotechnology, electronic health care systems and treatments, and life sciences.
