A National Trend? Data Privacy Legislation Passes Washington Senate

Bracewell’s Lucy Tyson discussed the recent data privacy legislation passed in the Washington State Senate with Business Travel News reporter Dawit Habtemariam.

The data privacy bill will require companies to disclose what personal data they are collecting, what they are doing with that data and with whom they are sharing it. If enacted, the Washington Privacy Act would go into effect July 31, 2021.
