Four Seattle Lawyers Named 2018 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

SEATTLE – Four Bracewell lawyers have been named to the Washington Super Lawyers and Rising Stars for 2018.

Super Lawyers ranked Lance W. Behnke as a “top rated” tax lawyer and Douglas F. Stewart as a “top rated” lawyer for intellectual property. This marks the tenth time in the last 11 years that Behnke has been named in Super Lawyers. Stewart has appeared on the list every year since 2013.

In addition, Annie Allison was named a top-rated rising star for intellectual property for the second year in a row. Jared D. Schuettenhelm was honored as a top-rated rising star in IP for the fifth time since 2014.

Super Lawyers is a service that rates outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Rising stars must be 40 years old or younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years. Selection to Rising Stars is also based upon peer recognition and professional achievement, with winners representing the top 2.5 percent of up-and-coming lawyers in Washington state.
