Bracewell Sponsors "Lawrence Celebration Breakfast" in Houston

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP proudly sponsored Lambda Legal's Houston Lawrence Celebration breakfast, which commemorates the anniversary of Lawrence v. Texas, Lambda Legal's Landmark Victory before the Supreme Court. Bracewell Associates Kathy Witty Medford, Andrew S. Farris, Kristin M. Pearson, and Stacianne M. Wilson were in attendance.

Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal was the nation's first legal organization dedicated to achieving full equality for lesbian and gay people. Forty years later, in 2003, Lambda Legal successfully urged the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn all remaining state sodomy laws in Lawrence v. Texas.
