Bracewell Represents NRG Retail LLC in its Agreement to Acquire XOOM Energy Global Holdings, LLC

NEW YORK – Bracewell LLP is representing NRG Retail LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of NRG Energy, Inc., in its agreement to acquire 100 percent of the membership interests in XOOM Energy Global Holdings, LLC (XOOM). XOOM, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the business of providing competitive retail electricity, natural gas and renewable energy supply options to residential and commercial customers in over 100 utility markets across the United States and Canada.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
