Bracewell Represents Allegiance Bancshares Inc. in Acquisition of Farmers & Merchants Bancshares Inc.

Bracewell LLP is representing Houston-based Allegiance Bancshares Inc. in the proposed acquisition of Farmers & Merchants Bancshares and its wholly owned banking subsidiary, Enterprise Bank.

The deal has been approved by both boards of directors and is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2014 subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing condition.
