Bracewell Represents Alcoa Power Generating Inc. in Sale of Hydroelectric Power Plants to Cube Hydro Carolinas LLC

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP is representing Alcoa Power Generating Inc., a subsidiary of Alcoa Inc., in its sale of the Yadkin Hydroelectric Project assets in North Carolina to Cube Hydro Carolinas LLC, an affiliate of Cube Hydro Partners LLC.

The Yadkin Hydroelectric Project includes four hydroelectric power plants known as High Rock, Tuckertown, Narrows, and Falls, totaling 215 MW. The facilities are expected to produce nearly 800,000 MW-hours of clean electricity per year.

The transaction is expected to close the second half of 2016.
