Bracewell Recognized as Equal Access to Justice Champion

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP has been recognized as a 2013-2014 Equal Access to Justice Champion by the Houston Volunteer Lawyers for successfully completing a year-long pledge to take on at least 50 new HVL pro bono matters during the fiscal year.

HVL started the Equal Access to Justice Champions program in 2006. The program focuses on committing Houston law firms, solo practitioners, and corporate legal departments to take on a certain number of cases each year for five years in order to bridge the gap between the more than 6 million people who qualify for legal aid but do not receive it, and the less than 100,000 lawyers statewide.
