Bracewell Ranks Among Top Companies to Promote LGBT Equality

HOUSTON – Bracewell & Giuliani LLP recently ranked among the top companies in the U.S. for promoting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality in the Corporate Equality Index 2015, a new report from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

The report ranked the nation’s top law firms as well as Fortune 1000 companies on their LGBT equality based on five categories: employment benefits, nondiscrimination policies, demonstrated organizational competency and accountability around LGBT diversity and inclusion, public commitment to LGBT equality, and responsible citizenship. The report includes the findings from more than 4,000 companies, 89 percent of which offer explicit gender identity nondiscrimination protections.

Bracewell received a 90 percent on the 2015 Corporate Equality Index, reflecting a commitment to LGBT workplace equality, with respect to tangible policies, benefits and practices.
