Bracewell Hosts University of Houston Law Center Professional Development Series

Group PhotoBracewell hosted the University of Houston Law Center’s “Professional Development Series: Path to In-House Counsel” on April 28, 2017.

Partner and firm Diversity & Inclusion Committee Co-Chair Yvonne Y. Ho served as moderator of the event and was joined by speakers Fermeen Fazal, VP & Chief Counsel, UniversalPegasus; Jennifer Phan, Assistant General Counsel, Superior Energy; Michele Pilibosian, VP & General Counsel, Life Energy; and Marney Collins Sims, General Counsel, Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District.

“It was a delight to hear such a dynamic group of women who hold senior legal positions within their companies speak with remarkable candor about their career paths, the challenges they face, and the Bayneslessons they learned along the way,” said Ho on the panel.

The program was preceded by a breakfast and networking opportunity. The event was presented by Leonard M. Baynes, Dean of the University of Houston Law Center and University of Houston Law Alumni Association Committee on Diversity & Inclusion. Assisting with the event was Bracewell Partner Richard F. Whiteley, who also serves on the firm Diversity & Inclusion Committee and is the University of Houston Law Alumni Association President.
