Bracewell’s Washington, D.C. Office Relocates to State-of-the-Art Building in the Heart of the Nation’s Capital

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Bracewell LLP’s Washington, D.C. office has moved to newly constructed state-of-the-art office space. The firm will occupy one-and-a-half floors of 2001 M St. NW, a new Brookfield Property Partners’ trophy building, near Dupont Circle.

“The new space is spectacular,” said Mark K. Lewis, managing partner of Bracewell’s Washington, D.C. office. “The natural light, the modern efficient build out and the client-friendly conference center will enhance our ongoing success in the Washington market, where we have leading practices and practitioners.”

The newly redeveloped, 285,000-square-foot building features floor-to-ceiling glass, an efficient footprint and an open layout. Amenities include a rooftop terrace, large fitness center, bike room and a lounge with Wi-Fi. Brookfield retained design firm Lehman Smith McLeish to design the building with the changing needs of law firms in mind. The 10-story trophy office building was designed to achieve LEED Gold certification. Bracewell retained Gensler for the design of its space and Harvey Cleary for the build out construction.
