Bracewell’s Energy Projects and Litigation Teams Shortlisted for Two Chambers USA – Texas Awards

HOUSTON – Chambers USA has shortlisted Bracewell LLP for two awards at its inaugural 2019 Chambers USA – Texas Awards: Energy/Projects Firm of the Year and Commercial Litigation Firm of the Year. Winners will be announced at the Chambers Forum in Houston on June 13.

Chambers lauded the firm’s energy projects practice, describing Bracewell as “a leading firm with highly impressive expertise across the energy arena.” Chambers further noted that Bracewell is “frequently seen on big-ticket transactions in both the power and oil and gas space, handling matters for clients ranging from electric utilities and merchant transmission owners to upstream exploration companies and refineries.”

Bracewell’s litigation department also earned high praise. Chambers noted that the firm has a “deep bench with a reputation for creative approach to disputes,” adding that the Texas litigation team is adept at handling energy, banking, securities, intellectual property and environmental matters.
