Bracewell’s Dallas Office Receives “Gold Award” for Pro Bono Work

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP’s Dallas office received the Gold Award for pro bono work from The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP). The Gold Award is the highest honor given to a law firm office with 50 lawyers or less that accepted and closed the most pro bono cases in 2013. 

This is the second straight year Bracewell has received this honor. The firm’s Dallas attorneys and paralegals collectively completed 1,957 hours of pro bono service between September 1, 2012, and August 31, 2013, with 100 percent associate participation

In addition, Bracewell Partner Tricia DeLeon won the Pro Bono Coordinator of the Year Award for her outstanding support.

DVAP, a joint program of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, provides free legal services to those citizens of Dallas County, Texas living at or below poverty level.  DVAP focuses on recruitment, training, and supporting volunteer attorneys who donate legal services to income-eligible clients.  Bracewell & Giuliani is a proud supporter of DVAP.
