Jeff Holmstead Named to List of Energy & Environmental Trailblazers

WASHINGTON, DC – Bracewell LLP partner Jeffrey R. Holmstead has been named an Environmental Trailblazer as part of ALM’s National Law Journal Trailblazers series. Legal professionals recognized in this series are those who have done groundbreaking work in energy and environmental law.

Holmstead has been a forerunner on energy-related environmental issues since the early 1990s, when he worked on the Clean Air Act and climate change issues as a White House lawyer. He currently advises a number of energy companies and business groups on compliance strategies and represents several of them in the ongoing litigation over the Clean Power Plan. Through his high-profile work on the Clean Power Plan and his advocacy before the EPA, Congress and the courts, Holmstead has again jumped to the forefront of the national debate over carbon emissions.
