Eight Environmental Rule Proposals to Watch for in 2015

Thursday, November 20, 2014
10:30 am - 11:30 am

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP hosted a complimentary webinar.

With a new Republican-led Congress opposing his policies, President Obama will have to place even more reliance on administrative rulemakings to implement his environmental policy. During this hour-long webinar, we presented the 8 most significant rules the Administration is expected to propose in 2015 to further regulate the oil and gas industry. As part of the Administration’s final regulatory push while it enters its last two years, we anticipate rules on subjects such as:

•  methane emissions,

•  water discharges from unconventional wells,

•  national ambient air ozone standards (NAAQS), and

•  offshore financial assurance.

Lowell Rothschild held a quick and timely review of what to watch for in 2015.
