The Legal 500 United Kingdom Awards Honors Bracewell with the 2017 Oil & Gas Specialism Firm of the Year

LONDON – Bracewell (UK) LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s London office has been named 2017 Projects, Energy and Natural Resources Specialism Firm of the Year in Oil and Gas by Legalease’s The Legal 500 United Kingdom Awards. Bracewell earned the same honor in 2014.

Bracewell’s London office is solely dedicated to the energy sector, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, finance and project development transactions in the oil, gas and power industries. Since its launch, the London office has acquired some 50 new energy clients, as well as acting for most of the leading energy banks. Innovative work this year includes advising Ophir Energy on its floating LNG project in Equatorial Guinea, advising ENI on the sale to BP of a 10 percent interest in the Zohr gas field offshore Egypt – the largest gas discovery in the Mediterranean, and advising Delek Drilling and Avner Oil Exploration on a $1.75 billion development financing for the Leviathan gas field offshore Israel.
