Bracewell Tops Charts in MergerMarket’s Texas Rankings

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP ranked second among the top three law firms with the highest value of Texas energy deals in MergerMarket’s league table rankings. From the second quarter of 2013 through the first quarter of 2014, the firm worked on 15 deals totaling $30 billion.

Bracewell also came in third among the top 10 law firms with the highest value of Texas deals, with 31 deals totaling $36.06 billion. Additionally, the firm ranked second among the top three law firms with the highest value of Texas industrial and chemical deals, with four deals totaling $3.75 billion.

MergerMarket is an independent data publisher that specifically targets the M&A sector. These rankings will be published in the Houston Business Journal’s 2014 Law Magazine which will feature the largest deals worked on by Houston partners in the past year.
